Although COVID-19 is no longer declared a pandemic, it is still extremely contagious, especially to those who are unvaccinated or have a weakened immune system.Â
The DisabiliTease Festival cannot guarantee that attendees will not become infected with COVID-19 when attending watch parties and will not be held liable for any infections.
The DisabiliTease Festival requires all hosts to follow a COVID policy and Code of Conduct as a condition of hosting, ensuring a base level of a safe, welcoming environment for as many people as possible.
Masks, regular hand washing, and social distancing are all encouraged. Please stay home if you do not feel well or have been exposed to someone who may have had COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Ultimately, it is up to the individual whether they feel comfortable attending an in-person watch party. DTF recommends attendees check their local government and health department regulations as well as local case numbers in making the decision to attend in-person or participate virtually.
If a watch party ticket is purchased but needs to be transferred to become a virtual ticket due to COVID, please contact us right away.
