There are multiple ways to support us! Become a Sponsor, Advertiser, or Donor, volunteer, purchase some of our merchandise, or simply help spread the word!

Sponsorship

We are grateful for our individual donors and larger sponsors. Visit the sponsorship page, or check out our current sponsorship kit to learn more. Thank you for supporting the arts!

Why sponsorship is important:

Sponsorship for the DisabiliTease Festival holds significant importance as it enables our producers, Minda Mae and Lakota Shekar, to alleviate stress by ensuring that we can guarantee the following:

  • An in-person show at one of the only accessible venues in the Twin Cities.
  • Equitable pay for performers, tech crew, and staff.
  • Backstage refreshments, including water, snacks, and goodie bags for performers.
  • Accessibility accommodations such as ASL interpreters, live captioning, video editing and captioning, and transportation.

Sponsors can contribute both in cash and in-kind donations, as well as silent auction items, which empower us to create an inclusive and equitable environment that reduces barriers for performers, staff, and audiences. The festival also aims to increase visibility and representation for disabled artists while fostering growth and connection within our local and global communities.

Note: Because we are a fiscally sponsored group, you can make tax-deductible donations. Please contact us to learn how.

Advertising

Advertising in our printed and digital programs introduces our audience to your business or organization, giving you worldwide reach.

Perks: All ads will have a live link on our website and a monthly group shoutout on Facebook and Instagram. The inside back cover, inside front cover, and 2-page spread ads will have a live link with their logo on our website and individual shoutouts on Facebook and Instagram.

Note: Payment and ad copy is needed by May 1, 2024.

Visit our advertising page or check out our current advertising kit to learn more.

Volunteer

This festival would not be possible without an amazing team of volunteers to make it happen. Join the community and make a difference by becoming a volunteer.

Positions include joining our production team, business and finance, ad sales and sponsorship, digital marketing, social media, graphics and design, housing coordinator, instructor coordinator, day-of tasks, and more. Most positions are able to be completed virtually, and some start immediately!

As a thank you, volunteers will receive one comp ticket, which can be used for the Friday or Saturday shows, as well as one workshop comp ticket, which can be used for any of the workshops on Sunday.

If you’re interested in helping the only festival of its kind be successful in creating space for disabled bodies from around the world, visit our current volunteer needs form or email us if you have specific ways you’d like to help, and we will follow up directly via email as opportunities arise.
