The DisabiliTease Festival (DTF) is the first professional festival celebrating burlesque, cirque, cabaret, and drag performers with disabilities from around the world.

Launched in 2019, with the first show in 2020, the festival provides an opportunity to performers who are often overlooked, underestimated, or deemed too difficult to book due to necessary accommodations to receive the validation and recognition they deserve.

The Team

The DisabiliTease Festival was founded by Minda Mae (Minneapolis, MN) and is co-owned by Lakota Shekhar (Cleveland, OH).
